Sponsoring Affiliates
The most important activity that we should be doing here at SFI is sponsoring or finding affiliates. In fact, if we will not do this, we might as well quit and opt out of SFI. Our success in SFI depends largely on whether we can recruit affiliates. We should not stop doing this as long as we are member of SFI. The moment we stop finding affiliates our SFI business will start slow down.
Our objective is to be able to recruit 5 to 10 active affiliates. These active affiliates are enough to give us long term monthly income. That is the good news. But finding these 5 to 10 people is the bad news because in reality, only 1 to 5 percent who sign up will become active, and 1 to 5 percent of those who read or listen to our ads will sign up and 1 to 5% of our target people will read or listen to our ads.
Let's us compute how many sign up we need to find the 5 to 10 active affiliates. We need from 500 to 1000 sign-ups to get the 5 to 10 active affiliates. In the same manner we need 50,000 to 100,000 people to read or listen to our ads to get the 500 to 1,000 sign ups. at this rate and we need to target 5 to 10 million people for the 50 to 100 thousands to read or listen to our ads.
My computation above is true if we rely on internet marketing but higher percentage is expected on warm or face to face marketing. So we start with the people we know personally. Soon, they will exhausted and therefore we don't have other choice but to do internet marketing. So, majority of the lessons here will be about internet marketing. SFI website also have a lot of lesson on internet marketing but they are not detailed. You still need to figure out how to apply them.
With this in mind, bulk of your work therefore is also learning internet marketing. You need to research and study.
